I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I earned my Psy.D. at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and also have a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Cincinnati.  I completed my practicum internship at Vista Del Mar Child and Adolescent Outpatient Center, and I completed my pre-doctoral and post-doctoral internship training at the Wright Institute Los Angeles (WILA) where I earned a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

 

Prior to becoming a psychologist, I taught philosophy at various universities and high school English most recently at Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica.

I mainly use approaches that focus on understanding the deeper roots of your thoughts and behaviors, along with helping you find meaning and purpose in life. I believe the relationship we build in therapy is key to growth and healing, and I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate space where you feel truly seen and heard.​​
